81st Anniversary of The Lost Colony

Queen Anne’s Revenge Project

The Conservation Lab in Greenville, NC where is the project is underway is open for FREE behind-the-scenes tours. See first-hand how the lad is conserving, documenting, and investigating the artifacts recovered from the shipwreck identified as the pirate Blackbeard’s flagship, Queen Anne’s Revenge.   (NC Dept. of Natural and Cultural Resources)

The North Carolina Quilt Symposium 2018

May 31, June 1-3, 2018 – The Asheville Quilt Guild and the North Carolina Quilt Symposium, Inc., welcome quilters to “Delectable Asheville”, the 39th North Carolina Quilt Symposium. The committee has been working hard to have the best symposium ever. University of North Carolina Asheville has ‘smart’ classrooms, a great dining facility and comfortable dormitories. UNC Asheville also offers a beautiful campus where you can relax and enjoy the mountains and all Asheville has to offer.
